It is now the LAW, (SB 151), in California!
Beginning January 1, 2005 all level II through V prescriptions will have to be written on a form that is printed by a State licensed printer.
All SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA COMPUTER FORMS & LABELS Rx forms exceed the State's requirements for security. We have added several extra features such as a special paper with a genuine watermark and visible security fibers. The paper and ink that we use is only obtainable from the mills and manufacturers by security document printers.
Our goal is to never let your name and our name be on an Rx form that is altered, copied or in the wrong hands. Below are just a few of the different layouts available. Give us a call and we can mail you a sample so you know exactly what your getting.
We also have custom design available. If our standard designs doesn't meet your needs, we will work with you to design a custom form that meets your requirements and CA Law. Size available is 5-1/2 x 4-1/4

Shown hear is the thermochromic security feature. This feature is printed with a special ink that is only obtainable by security printers. SCCF&L uses only SIPCA inks. SIPCA is the ink manufacturer for US currency. It would be nearly impossible for a forger to print this image. They would not be able to get the ink and would not have the equipment to put in on the paper. |
 PAPER PROTECTED FROM CHEMICAL ALTERATION
Shown here is a view of the security features in the paper used by NBS in its prescription forms. The stained portions show the way the paper reacts to the chemical solvents usually used to alter documents. One corner is alcohol, another is acetone and another is bleach. Looking closely you can see the small colored fibers in the paper. Theese red and green fibers are in the paper and not on it so they are visible from both sides. |

All printing is done in one secure facility with all operations recorded by surveillance cameras. No product leaves without a secure packaging and we check licenses with every order or reorder. We do require a doctors signature and must have a signed receipt for every delivery.
